We collect what an order needs, and what a buy-back promise needs. Not more.
What we collect
- To fulfil an order: name, delivery address, email, and payment confirmation from our processor. We never see or store your card number.
- To honour the buy-back promise: the piece number, the price you paid, the date and the email used. This is your Asset File.
- To verify a piece: the piece number plus the email on the order. That pairing is the only key, which is why we ask for both.
- To run the store: order analytics, and email marketing consent where you gave it.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your email with another jewellery brand.
- We do not use your photographs for advertising without asking in writing first.
How long we keep it
Order and Asset File records are kept as long as the buy-back promise could be claimed, plus the period tax law requires — currently ten years for accounting records. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete what we are not legally required to keep, object to marketing, and ask for portability. Write to us and a person answers within 30 days. If we cannot delete something because tax law requires us to keep it, we will tell you exactly which record and why.
Cookies
The store uses the cookies a checkout needs, plus analytics and — where you consent — advertising measurement. You can refuse the optional ones without losing any part of the buying experience.
